Worth knowing
Population figures come from the server's public query, refreshed every five minutes. A server that is restarting drops out of the list until it answers again, so a missing row is not proof that it has closed. The wipe column is drawn from observed wipes and published schedules; a tilde means the time is estimated rather than confirmed.
Most 1.5x servers are small. The top few rows usually hold the majority of players on this gather rate, so if you want regular encounters, stay near the top. The lower rows can be quiet enough for building, but they rarely support sustained PvP.
The group column shows what the server advertises, not what it enforces. A limit of 8 is Rust's default and often means no limit was set. Many 1.5x servers run their own wipe cycle rather than waiting for the monthly force wipe, so check the next wipe date before you commit time to a base.

What readers ask
What does 1.5x mean on a Rust server?
It means the server owner has set the gather rate to one and a half times the vanilla amount. Nodes, trees and barrels give 50% more resources per hit. Because that changes a core setting, such servers sit in the modded category rather than vanilla.
Do all 1.5x servers wipe at the same time?
No. Some follow Facepunch's monthly force wipe, but many run their own weekly or biweekly schedule. The next wipe column shows the estimate for each server, and the force wipe page gives the official date for the next monthly reset.
Why do player counts on this page change so often?
The figures are pulled from each server's public query and refreshed every five minutes. Counts rise after a wipe and fall as the cycle progresses, and they drop to zero during a restart. The ranking is simply the current order, not a measure of quality.
