Rust servers running the tutorial

It means Facepunch's new-player tutorial is switched on. You start on a private island and work through gathering, crafting, building and cooking before joining the main map. The server keeps its normal population, rates and wipe schedule throughout.

Check the Group column before you join. It shows the maximum team size the server allows once you leave the island. Some set solo, duo or trio limits, while others use Rust's default of 8. The tutorial itself is played alone.

Yes. The tutorial does not change the wipe cycle. Most servers on this list wipe monthly, and fewer use weekly or biweekly cycles. The Next wipe column gives the countdown for each one, and a server's page has its estimated upcoming dates.

Facepunch keeps the tutorial switched on across many of its official servers, so they carry the tag and appear here. That is why the list looks close to a general popularity chart. Filter by region or group size if you want a smaller, quieter server.
