When do Rust servers wipe?
All servers wipe at force wipe, the first Thursday of each month at 19:00 UK time, when Facepunch ships the game update. Between force wipes each owner picks a rhythm, usually weekly, biweekly or monthly. The force wipe countdown shows the next one, and the heatmap above shows the days and hours owners actually use.
What is the difference between a map wipe and a blueprint wipe?
A map wipe resets the world: bases, loot and everything placed on the map goes. A blueprint wipe also clears what you have learned to craft. Most servers map-wipe on their own schedule and keep blueprint wipes to the force wipe, but the split varies, so read the server's own description before you commit a wipe cycle to it.
What time of day do servers wipe?
Owners usually pick an evening in the server's home region so players are online for the reset. The heatmap above groups recorded wipes by hour in UTC. UK time is UTC in winter and one hour ahead in summer; US Eastern is four hours behind UTC in summer and five in winter, so a 19:00 UTC wipe is 15:00 in New York in July.
